Our story, our heart, and what we believe.
Heritage Hill is a Church of the Nazarene — part of a global family of Christians who believe faith is meant to change you, not just comfort you. We've been part of the Papillion community for over two decades, and what started as a small gathering of neighbors has grown into a vibrant, diverse family united around one thing: following Jesus together.
We're not a perfect church. We're a church of imperfect people who believe in a perfect God — and who are on the journey together, step by step, day by day.
Plan Your Visit
Four words that capture who we are and where we're headed — and four pathways to help you take your next step.
God doesn't wait for us to find our way to Him — He pursues us. Every Sunday we gather around that reality, through worship, Scripture, and the presence of His Spirit. Whether you're just exploring faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, our services are a place where you can encounter the God who already knows your name.
We weren't designed to do life alone — and the Holy Spirit does some of His best work in the context of real community. Small Groups are where faith goes deeper: honest conversations, shared meals, and people who know you beyond Sunday. Joining a group is one of the most life-changing steps you can take at Heritage Hill.
You were created on purpose, for a purpose. Growth Track is three sessions that walk you through who Heritage Hill is, who God made you to be, and where your unique gifts and passions connect with something bigger than yourself. It's the clearest path from showing up on Sunday to truly belonging — and making a difference.
Every follower of Jesus is called to more than a seat on Sunday. We were put here — in this city, in this neighborhood, at this moment — on purpose. Heritage Hill exists to send people out: to serve Papillion, to love our neighbors, and to reach the world. There's a place for you to be part of something bigger than yourself.
Heritage Hill is part of the Church of the Nazarene — a worldwide movement of Christians founded in 1908, with over 2.5 million members in more than 30,000 churches across 165 countries. It's one of the largest Christian denominations you've probably never heard of.
Nazarenes are rooted in what's called the Wesleyan tradition — the belief that God's grace doesn't just forgive you and leave you where you found it. It actually transforms you. We believe God is in the business of making people whole: healing broken relationships, restoring what's been lost, and shaping us into people who love well.
That's why we don't preach at people — we walk alongside them. No matter where you're starting from, there's a next step for you here.

We know showing up somewhere new can feel intimidating. Here's what you can expect when you come to Heritage Hill for the first time.
Our greeters are real people who are genuinely glad you're here — not scripted salespeople. You'll get directions to wherever you need to go.
Safe, fun, and age-appropriate kids ministry is available for children from birth through 5th grade at every service.
No dress code, no performance required. You'll find people in everything from jeans to dress shirts — what matters is that you're here.
